In 1991, S.I.A.MI. Spa – Società Italiana Acque Minerali was founded in Umbria, the green heart of Italy. Our company consists of three plants to bottle and package mineral water, which is 100% Umbrian.
The historic site lies in the valley of Cerreto di Spoleto (PG), surrounded by the Sibillini Mountains, next to the wildlife reserve of the same name.
In 1995, SIAMI was acquired by the Notari family and thanks to their efforts, major technological innovations were made to the bottling line in Cerreto di Spoleto, which enabled the Viva water to be placed on the market alongside our original Misia water.
In 2002, the Company increased its share capital and transformed from S.r.l. to S.p.A. The new corporate structure enabled a series of major investments to be made and significant goals to be attained, such as the construction of the production site in Gubbio with the consequent launch of the Lieve and Rugiada brands.
In 2022, our family was joined by the Motette, Santa Chiara and Altea brands, bottled in our Scheggia and Pascelupo plant in the heart of the Monte Cucco Park.
Our qualified sales force, efficient production plants and a reliable, punctual transport system are our key resources, which enable us to be one of the leading benchmarks in the bottled mineral water sector for some of the major operators in mass retailing, the Ho.Re.Ca. channel and retailers.

Our plants in Gubbio, Cerreto di Spoleto and Scheggia e Pascelupo are built according to the latest criteria in order to be efficient and functional and be able to offer customers, consumers and the environment safe supplies.
Our years of experience in the sector and the technology used in our plants enable us to control the entire production chain, from bottling to packaging and on to delivery, to ensure the customer has a certified quality product within the time schedule required and the consumer receives a product with all the properties it had at the source.
